oh my Kenzi this was just phenomenal. I wish you knew how much this resonates with me, we are in such similar places seeking for what our soul yearns for and not giving into the pressures of society & to be made into a profit-making machine. I love how you’re leaning into the unknown and you’re definitely doing something right!! We can all learn from this, it is inspiring that you are so in tune with your true desires.
And the poem!! Ahhh so gorgeous. Thank you for this piece ❤️
living life in resistance to societal pressures is no easy task. but i think living any other way would be a betrayal to both body and spirit. i am proud of us both for leaning in, even if its with uncertainty.🌊
Hi Kenzie! I loved this so much and perfect timing especially since I've also recently decided to embark on a similar journey of leaving a career that drained me. It's uncomfortable diving into the unknowns of unemployment but the ways in which I've come to know myself are magical. The acknowledged privilege is also deeply felt and heard.
Not only did your words deeply resonate with me but just by reading your first welcome paragraph, I already feel like this is my new cozy shared space. 🥲🌷
hiiii tí! thank you for your kind words. what a sweet synchronicity that we are both going through this transitional stage. i look forward to continuing to share this little corner of the internet with you <3
Beautiful reflections and poem, Kenzi! Thank you for this & it resonates so much for me 💗 It’s so necessary to identify why/where that friction exists as you’re doing here, congrats on making the jump and hope the path leads somewhere nourishing for you!
